We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a
list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance
the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for
flaws, but for potential. ~Ellen Goodman

Thirsty for more!
We're back. It's been a while I know. As soon as we set up our new blog, our motherboard to our pc kicked the bucket. We were lucky enough to find a good deal and replace the computer. Thank goodness. So, our holidays were the best! We kicked things off with a Christmas party for Jax at the Columbus NICU where he stayed. We were able to show him off and re-connect with
the doctors and nurses there. We were amazed of the overwhelming feeling of "going back home" that we felt when we were there. That place is so familiar to us. We are blessed with our new friendships there at the hospital and the Ronald McDonald House. After that celebration we then whisked off to Lubbock to have Jax's first Christmas with his Mimi and PawPaw. Our other nephews were able to meet Jax for the first time. Graham just gravitated towards him and boy did Jax love his cousins! While back in the Hubb City we had the pleasure of meeting baby Noah and seeing our family, the Moores and Hendersons. It was an event...a blessed one with so many little ones running around. A big thanks to the Jarboes for having us all get together...it meant more to us than you realize. We then made our way back to the ATL and settled back into the swing of things. But not too long after that, we celebrated our Christmas with my side. My parents came down from Charlotte and my brother and sister-in-law came over with our new nephew, Nico. Man, these two new grandboys were spoiled by their Pops and Nana! We had a great time and I cooked my first official Christmas dinner, ham and all without a hitch! I'm becoming quite domestic...guess it took a kid for that! So now, finally, and I mean now...as in last night, we took our Christmas decorations down. We loved Christmas this past year. We had so much to be thankful and so much to celebrate. With this new year we hope to remain as wide-eyed as Jax above! Wide-eyed and amazed with what God has in store for the NCC congregation, our family, and for all of God's Kingdom. We thirst to learn and experience more. God has some great things planned...we can feel it!
