It's The Circle of Drool! (insert Elton John's voice here)

Look how cute 6-month-old Jax is. Pretty cute huh? Happy and awake, peaceful and asleep. Jax is now teething, so all of you parents know that those times are treasured. Jaxon is grabbing at everything in sight to jam into his mouth. Funny thing is that this action is always preceeded with a growl. He growls at everything. Its funny, except for during the quietest moment of worship service on Sunday. So along with that comes a lot of excess saliva. That's right...its everywhere; it oozes from his mouth to ours during the "super baby" flights, its strings from his hair to our hair, its drips from his hands to our cheeks, and it seeps from the corners of his smile onto Ryan's goatee. Poor kid is perpetually in a bib...no point buying him cute clothes...can't see them. (Although, I did have an incident with a cute outfit earlier today...that involved stuff from his other end.) His favorite toy, Cesar (thanks to Adah and Noah Henderson) is now his favorite thing to gnaw. Boy, he can spot that little fox a mile away, you give it to him, then comes the growl, and then the slobber. So, what have I learned...well, boys start drooling around this time and continue until they die. As babes, they drool because they can't help it, then they drool over things such as food, girls, (claiming they can't help it) and cars, you name it, then they drool again in their old age (again, not being able to control it.) Its the circle of life...The Circle of Drool.
I leave you now with this great quote: "If you were to open up a baby's head - and I am not for a moment suggesting that you should - you would find nothing but an enormous drool gland. - Dave Barry
