Santa's Stinker!
Yes, we are finally making our way back to the world wide web. It's been a long time coming, but as most of you know, its been an eventful 6 months since our return to the States. Jax made his appearance 2 months early...exactly on his Dad's birthday and weighing 3lbs., just about the same as Ryan did when he was born. Jaxon was in the NICU in Columbus, Georgia for 6 weeks. It was the longest six weeks of our lives and we had some major scares when Jaxon got staff infection. Jax is doing a lot better now and now weighs 11lbs. He's starting to smile a lot and is the biggest stinker we know. In fact, his first Sunday at services as Ryan was holding him up and introducing him, he greeted the congregation with the loudest toot we've ever heard. Only parents such as ourselves would be so proud. Adjustment to parenthood has been exciting. We love every minute of it and getting up in the middle of the night is worth it all when we walk into the room and he greets us with a sweet smile.
Well, now that we are back amongst the "living" we hope to use this blog to entertain family and friends with our weekly (maybe daily) happenings. We love to share our lives and hope to reconnect with some of those we've lost contact with.
