Nueva Creacion

The work here continues to go well. We continue to have active members and more more people taking leadership roles, which is extremely encouraging. We’ve been having a lot of f also with games night and movie nights. In fact, this Saturday we are having “A Day with the Godfather”. Alejandro gave the whole Godfather series to Ryan for his birthday, so we are having a marathon with sum yummy Italian food to go with the theme. Everyone is so excited that they signed up on the list with Godfather characters names. Below you’ll see a menu below. Ryan continues to dabble in every area of the leadership, multiplying himself with others. He has bi-monthly meetings with the Elders and other leaders throughout the city. Small groups continue to go strongly. I am busy with Ada and organizing the children’s’ class and am participating with Israel in working with our singing group members. Vero’s knee is starting to heal, slowly but nicely. Please pray for Vero’s father. He lives about 10 hours away in Tilaco and his health is diminishing. Israel was in a car wreck last Sunday. He’s alright but of course his car is in need of some repair. Please keep Israel in your prayers. He’s a hard worker within the congregation, but also at his job. He is coming to a crossroads with making some big decisions concerning work. Alejandro is a great friend and a great leader in the congregation. He’s taken on the responsibility of being our treasurer and he’s amazing. He provides steady reports and is taking a huge role with helping the congregation in the center of the city.

I want to say thank you to all our supporters, new and old. Your prayers, phone calls, Facebook messages, money and emails are so encouraging. The life-long friendships we’ve developed with many of you and treasures and ones that I know we hold dear.

A couple of shout-outs to some people with birthdays this month: Dad, I love you. You’re not old, just older and with that comes more years behind you that you can treasure. Ken, I love you so much. I’m so proud of you and your accomplishments and the goals you set for yourself. Amanda, it’s been too long since I’ve seen you. I love you dearly. You’re a great mother and a precious friend. Shauna, you’re the sister I’ve always wanted. You’ve been put through the wringer this year, but you’ve step out with a light around you that attracts greatness. Thank you for being an ear to listen and an example to me as a mother. I love you!
